How to sync inventory, add the theme block, collect waitlists, and send restock alerts.
Inventory sync
Install RestockCue, open the app in Shopify admin, and run an inventory sync. The sync reads products, variants, locations, and available inventory.
Theme block
Add the RestockCue block in the theme editor on product templates. The block renders only when the selected variant is out of stock.
Restock alerts
When a later sync sees inventory available for a waitlisted variant, RestockCue sends the shopper an email and marks the signup notified.
